{Mickey Musketeer Birthday}

It is always such a treat to work with this family. For some amazing reason I get really inspired by the themes we choose for all the celebrations we have made for all three of their kids.  So this time, we took a popular theme as Mickey Mouse and got inspired by The Three Musketeers movie.  The result is a colorful and fun display of desserts and balloons.  Guests were impressed and delighted by all the sweetness.

We started off with the balloon art by my friend Johanna of GloboArte where she created a life size Mickey Musketeer and a not so literal Goofy by incorporating the age of the birthday boy.  Placed by each side of our dessert table it was the perfect backdrop element along with a birthday banner with a medieval look.

Now on to the table.  Lots of desserts including strawberry cheesecakes with embellished spoons, lemon French macarons, fleur de lis sugar cookies, chocolate covered Oreos, coconut macaroons and brownies.  All of these desserts made by my sweet sister-in-law Mari from Sugar Bliss.

The cake is always a focal point of my tables and this one is simply spectacular.  Mary from The Cake Factory created three tiers of deliciousness and really fantastic sugar art.  An exclusive design for this party! The cupcakes were a perfect complement to this cake.

The kids tables featured a musketeer look alike centerpiece, Mickey head place mats, polka dot plates and personalized water bottle labels with striped straws.  Mickey ears for each kid completed the setting.

We prepared burlap goody bags along with tiaras and magic wands for girls and foam swords for the kids.

The party was held at a local indoor playground and the kids had a blast.
